KKCompany announced today that it would spin off its “software technology” businesses, to form the KKCompany Technologies Group. Steve Wang will serve as Group Chairman and CEO to lead the strategic layout, operations and business development of the newly formed group.
KKCompany co-founder and CEO Chris Lin said, “Over the last 20 years, the company has gradually developed from a single music streaming product to a diversified business, ranging from ‘software technology’ to the ‘influencer economy’. Through this split, I am very confident in the leadership of KKCompany Technologies Group by Steve and his professional management team and I believe that under his leadership, the group will create the next peak of the business. I will also maintain the spirit of the founding of KKBOX and continue to work for creators through KKCulture Group.”
